The fabricated image showed her son in a groom’s outfit standing beside a woman in bridal attire, falsely suggesting he had gotten married.

On her Instagram Story, Melissa wrote, “Love seeing who Aidan’s married to this week,” followed by laughing-crying emojis. The post exposed yet another AI-generated hoax targeting the Lions star.

The fake image included fabricated quotes attributed to Hutchinson, claiming, “For ten years she has held me down in the toughest of times. My love for her is eternal. So when people speak about her race, we ignore it. I don’t see color. I see my heart.” These statements bore no resemblance to the 25-year-old player’s actual life or relationship status.

Beyond the fake engagement, Melissa also debunked other AI-generated stories circulating about her son. These included false claims about him having a child, purchasing a diner, making massive charitable donations, and signing an alleged $180 million contract.

This marks the second time the Hutchinson family has confronted AI misinformation. In July 2025, Aidan Hutchinson and the family’s House of Hutch brand issued a statement on Instagram warning fans about fake AI articles circulating on Facebook.

The statement urged followers to “think twice before you believe anything on the internet” and only trust information from official sources, such as the House of Hutch, Detroit Lions, Aidan’s social media, or reputable sports news outlets.

Previous fake headlines included claims that Hutchinson was changing positions, donating his signing bonus, and buying an animal shelter. No wonder none of which was true.

In reality, Hutchinson is reportedly dating fitness coach Alivia Rose Callaghan, though he maintains a private approach to his personal life and hasn’t publicly confirmed his relationship status.

The defensive end remains focused on his NFL career after recovering from a fractured tibia and fibula injury suffered during the 2024 season.
