Adam Thielen’s wife, Caitlin, was one of millions who voiced their heartbreak and anger with the recent shooting at Minneapolis. On Wednesday, 23-year-old Robin Westman fired more than 100 rifle rounds in the chapel at Annunciation Catholic School, tragically killing two children.
The shooting is just one of many that regularly happen in the United States, and more and more people have been calling out the government staunchly for this. In fact, the mayor of Minneapolis himself came out to ask for change and remarked that ‘thoughts and prayers’ will not do anymore. Caitlin Thielen shared a post about the Minneapolis shooting and “prayed” for change.

“I can’t even imagine. Praying for Minneapolis and all affected by this senseless tragedy. Praying for change for the better for Minnesota,” Caitlin Thielen captioned her Instagram post about the shooting in Minneapolis on Wednesday.
Adam Thielen’s wife was not the only one who used social media to draw more attention to the terrible shooting this week. Millions of others have been calling for stricter gun laws in the United States, while also criticizing the government, especially US President Donald Trump for taking no action in this.
The shooter, Robin Westman, took their own life after the shooting, which they did with the guns they bought legally. Westman was transgender and the shooting has reportedly brought about plenty of hatred for this particular community.
Adam Thielen To Play For Minnesota Vikings Once More
Adam Thielen will once more play for the Minnesota Vikings in this upcoming season after playing with the Carolina Panthers for a couple of seasons. The Vikings recently traded with the Panthers to bring back the wide receiver to their roster for the 2025 NFL campaign.

Thielen, being a Minnesota native, will be more than happy to play for the Vikings in this season. Thielen and the Vikings will soon kick off their regular season with a matchup against the Chicago Bears in Week 1. The Vikings managed to impress in the first preseason game, winning 20-10 against the Houston Texans, but then lost the next two games.

The Vikings will be eager to kick off their regular season on a strong note, with a hopeful win against the Bears. The Minnesota Vikings managed to only make it as far as the wild card round in the previous season and will be desperate to do better and stronger this time out.
