Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel hinted on Tuesday about the possibility of benching quarterback Tua Tagovailoa after the team was eliminated from playoff contention after a loss on Monday night. Well, Bleacher Report reported, “Breaking: Dolphins are benching QB Tua Tagovailoa, per
Quinn Ewers will make his first start vs. Bengals.”

Well, McDaniel took his words into immediate actions. It is interesting that Quinn Ewers, the rookie, will be the starting quarterback over Zach Wilson. This may have been the right move by McDaniel anyways. This also signals that this could be it for Tagovailoa in a Dolphins uniform.
NFL Fans React To Miami Dolphins Benching Tua Tagovailoa For Quinn Ewers

There are a lot of people on social media who are reacting to this news of Tua being benched for Ewers. This is what some of them said about the Dolphins quarterback switch on Twitter:
about damn time tbh… dude lost the locker room months ago, but think ewers and him are just cheeks of the same ass tbh

The 231st pick going from the bench to the starter’s circle is the script of a lifetime. The Quinn Ewers era in Miami starts now, and the league isn’t ready for this level of underdog energy.

Good. Dude need to retire and think about his long term health and his quality of life post nfl

First season Tua didn’t get hurt and stayed out of concussion protocol

Who tf is Quinn Ewers??? What did Tua do??

It will be interesting to see how Ewers will play during the final three weeks of the season for the Dolphins. It appears as if Miami is going to move on from Tagovailoa this offseason. If the Dolphins and other NFL teams don’t want him, then maybe he will just retire moving forward.
