Aaron Rodgers needs to be shown so much importance by the Pittsburgh Steelers, who instead should focus on their newly drafted quarterback, Will Howard, according to a hot take given by NFL analysts, Mike Tannenbaum. Tannenbaum revealed this controversial opinion on ‘Get Up’ on ESPN, much to the shock of viewers.

Rodgers, after being let go by the New York Jets in March this year, has been a quarterback of interest for several NFL teams. However, the Pittsburgh Steelers are the only ones who are currently interested in Aaron Rodgers. Still, the veteran quarterback has not come up with a definite answer in terms of whether he would be playing for the Steelers or not in the 2025 NFL season.

“Is there something about the Steelers that they think about Will Howard, who, but for a pretty bad workout at the Combine may have been a top three-round pick? …As great as Aaron Rodgers once was, he’s gonna be 42 in December. Like, are we better off with a young Will Howard that has everything in front of him that’ll be [chomping] at the bit? So, to me, the Aaron Rodgers thing, like what are we really getting now at the end of the day?” Mike Tannenbaum opinionated on Aaron Rodgers on ESPN’s ‘Get Up’ on Monday’s episode.

Aaron Rodgers, despite being 41 years old currently, is still one of the most talented quarterbacks out there in the league. It is also true that in the previous NFL season, the quarterback did not do too well. However, it looks like Rodgers has plenty of juice left in the tank since the Steelers are still holding out on hoping that the QB will sign with them.

Aaron Rodgers And Steelers Predicted To Fail By Paul Pierce

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers and his potential team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, are expected to flunk the next season by NFL analyst, Paul Pierce. Pierce revealed his opinion on ‘Speak’ this Monday and predicted the Steelers to not make it to the NFL postseason.

The Steelers are scheduled to meet the New York Jets in Week 1 of the upcoming NFL season. Before that, the team will be warming up with three preseason games against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers. After taking on the New York Jets, the Steelers will lock horns with the Seattle Seahawks for their second game.
