Before the season gets underway, he’s getting a taste of what Steelers fans feel toward Green Bay.
“Oh My Gosh” Aaron Rodgers Draws Anti Packers Chant After Practice (Watch)

During training camp on Wednesday, Aaron Rodgers was booed by a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fanbase, but not necessarily in a negative way:
After months of speculation, the Steelers signed Aaron Rodgers to a one-year deal in free agency last month. The four-time MVP pondered his playing future for three months following his release from the New York Jets, but the 41-year-old decided to put retirement on hold for at least another year.
“The Pat McAfee Show” set up camp at Steelers training camp today, and Rodgers was interviewed in front of the fired-up fans.
At the end of the interview (starting at the 16:47 mark), McAfee brought up Rodgers’ Super Bowl 45 triumph with the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers drew some playful booes when he reminded the fans that it was those very Steelers his old squad defeated in the big game.
“Yeah, we beat the Steelers!” Rodgers said, leading to “F**k the Packers!” chants from Pittsburgh fans.

Aaron Rodgers was near-perfect in that game, completing 24 pass attempts for 304 yards and three touchdowns as the Packers won a thriller 31-25.
Rodgers was one of three blockbuster veteran additions by the Steelers this offseason, along with superstar wide receiver DK Metcalf (acquired via trade with the Seattle Seahawks), and All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey (acquired with Jonnu Smith in a deal that sent Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Miami Dolphins.
15 years after breaking the Steelers’ hearts in Super Bowl 45, will Rodgers bring this franchise its long-awaited seventh Lombardi Trophy? Stay tuned.
Rodgers will debut for the Steelers on Sept. 7, when they take on the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium (1:00 p.m. EST). Something will have to give in that game, as former Steelers quarterback Justin Fields will also look for revenge when he takes the field for the Jets.
