Aaron Rodgers can be expected to be seen training with the Pittsburgh Steelers sometime later this month, according to sports reporter Jeremy Fowler. On SportsCenter on Saturday, Fowler discussed Rodgers’ possibilities with the Steelers and when fans can expect to see the veteran quarterback actually training with the team.
Rodgers is a free agent currently after being let go by the New York Jets this March. The Jets released Rodgers after a lackluster season last year. While several teams initially showed interest in Rodgers, it looks like the Pittsburgh Steelers are the only team who are actually showing a desire to bring the veteran quarterback to their locker room. Despite the team patiently waiting for months, Rodgers has not given a definite answer as of yet.
“The hold up is the Steelers are just kind of hanging here… We always knew with his first foray into free agency in his 20-year career. This was all going to be very unpredictable so right now, the Steelers are working with Mason Rudolph and rookie Will Howard at the OTAs. The hope would be that around June 10th through 12th, Rodgers would be there.” Jeremy Fowler said about Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers on SportsCenter on Saturday.
Aaron Rodgers will bring plenty of NFL experience as a veteran quarterback if he joins the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rodgers has been playing in the NFL since 2005 after being selected as the 24th pick in the very first round of the draft. Rodgers has won one Super Bowl in his career and will be eager to win another one before announcing his retirement from the league.

Aaron Rodgers May Have Saved New York Jets Plenty Of Trouble
Meanwhile, it looks like Aaron Rodgers leaving the New York Jets may have been a bigger blessing for the team than they originally thought so. During the offseason, the Jets have made several major moves, and their current roster is looking younger as ever. If Rodgers had indeed stuck with the Jets, his experience would have stood out like a sore thumb in the locker room, and not in a good way.

Plus, the Jets have also avoided all the pitfalls of Rodgers’ controversial mind, which has often led to plenty of criticism from fans and NFL analysts. Recently, Rodgers also made news for criticizing none other than the current US President, Donald Trump himself.
