Aaron Rodgers will be the quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025. Something that not many fans predicted a few years ago. Not to mention Rodgers having DK Metcalf at his disposal on the offense.
However, there is another wide receiver that Rodgers is reportedly targeting.
Aaron Rodgers Has Demanded His First WR Free Agent For The Steelers To Sign (Breaking)

It is possible that Aaron Rodgers will get his way when it comes to signing a talented wide recevier:
Amari Cooper is looking for a new team, and he might just find one sooner rather than later.
A new rumor says that the veteran quarterback is already trying to demand things, including that the Pittsburgh Steelers front office sign free-agent wideout Amari Cooper.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are continuing to look to upgrade their pass catchers. The team was reportedly in trade talks with the Miami Dolphins for TE Jonnu Smith and hosted free agent WR Gabe Davis for a visit.
Former first-round pick Amari Cooper remains unsigned after a season in which he caught just 44 passes for 547 yards between the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills.

Sports Illustrated’s Gilbert Manzano named the Steelers the best fit for Cooper to “make life easier.”
“Cooper, who turns 31 in June, had a quiet, brief stint with the Bills after being traded by the Browns midway through the season. He’s still a solid route runner capable of opening up the field for his teammates,” Manzano wrote.
The Steelers are thin at wide receiver after sending George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys. Cooper can help move the chains and take some attention away from newcomer star wideout DK Metcalf. Cooper, who has 711 career receptions, would make life easier for Mason Rudolph or a popular unsigned quarterback.”
Cooper was traded to the Browns in 2022 and then moved to the Bills in 2024. Now a free agent, his name is resurfacing.
If the Steelers want to compete with AFC powerhouses like the Chiefs and Bills, adding a seasoned wideout like Cooper could make all the difference.
After making two Pro Bowls in his first three years in Oakland, Cooper was traded to the Dallas Cowboys in 2018. The wideout made another Pro Bowl in that split season between the Raiders and Cowboys before Dallas sent him to the Cleveland Browns in another trade in 2022.
In his 10 professional seasons, Amari Cooper has recorded 711 receptions for 10,033 yards and 64 touchdowns.
