Aaron Rodgers wasn’t afraid to make his opinion known about his departure from the New York Jets. On The Pat McAfee Show Rodgers disclosed some fairly questionable actions by New York’s front office. “I figured when I flew across country to meet with the Jets there was gonna be a conversation.” Rodgers said. “We sat down in the office & 20 seconds in the coach said we’re going in a different direction.. That’s totally fine but they could have just told me that on the phone”
However, an old post of his is coming to light and fans are calling him out for it.

Jets fan and X/Twitter user @NYJ_Matt did some good old-fashioned social media detective work and uncovered a 12-year-old tweet from Aaron Rodgers. On Apr. 14, 2013, Rodgers wrote, “Meeting in person > phone call. Always”.
We’ll go ahead and guess that Rodgers’ mind has changed on the whole “meeting in person” is “always” better than phone calls. On this occasion he brought up with the Jets, a phone call certainly would have been better.
In his lone full season with the Jets, the 10-time Pro Bowler completed 63.0 percent of pass attempts for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Fans immediately called out the four-time MVP quarterback:
