Aaron Rodgers, veteran quarterback, is being accused of playing the victim card by ProFootballTalk owner, Mike Florio. In a detailed article on Saturday, Florio remarked that the Jets wanted nothing to do with a person like Rodgers who always tries to label themselves as a victim.

In the 2024 NFL season, quarterback Aaron Rodgers played for the New York Jets. However, after a subpar season, the Jets announced last month that they are releasing Rodgers from their roster. While Rodgers has remained pretty quiet after being let go by the team, he recently criticized them on his appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ last week. For the Jets, the quarterback managed a total of 3,897 yards, scoring 28 touchdowns for the team.

“The Jets gain nothing from getting into a pissing contest with someone who always finds a way to paint himself as the victim. They gain everything by continuing to implement their plan to move on.” Mike Florio said in his column on Saturday.

Aaron Rodgers tore the New York Jets apart in his appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, criticizing the team’s organization. Despite Rodgers openly criticizing them on the show, the team has not come out to return the favor.

Rodgers has been playing in the NFL since 2005 after the Green Bay Packers selected him as the 24th pick in the very first round of the draft. Rodgers played for Green Bay from 2005 to 2022, and then one year with the New York Jets.

Aaron Rodgers Yet To Make Decision About Future Team In NFL

On another note, Aaron Rodgers has yet to make a decision about which NFL team he aims to play for in the upcoming season. Rodgers did shed some light on this in his appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’. But what was shockingly revealed in the discussion was that Rodgers is not even sure about playing or not playing in the NFL anymore.

Rodgers stated that he had multiple factors to consider before making his decision about his next step in the league. One of the deciding factors that the veteran quarterback stated was his ‘serious relationship’ with a woman named Brittani.

Rodgers also mentioned that he had other close friends to consider while making his decision. Among the various NFL teams which have expressed their interest in him, the Pittsburgh Steelers seem the most eager to bring in Aaron Rodgers to their locker room for the 2025 NFL season.
