Aaron Rodgers has been making headlines all off-season long, mostly for the fact that he has yet to sign with an NFL team. For the first time in his more than two decade career, Rodgers is a free agent in the month of May.
Now, he decided to make a huge announcement on the Joe Rogan Podcast that was just released today.
Breaking: Aaron Rodgers Announces Huge Life Change Live On Joe Rogan Podcast (Watch)

As of now, Rodgers has not announced where or if he will play in the 2025 NFL season:
The four-time NFL MVP has been linked hard to the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, he’s yet to sign a contract. The Steelers didn’t take a quarterback high in the 2025 NFL Draft, leaving fans convinced that Rodgers will end up in Pittsburgh.
Rodgers, 41, has said that he’s been dealing with some personal things, with people close to him going through some medical issues. However, it sounds like he’s considering a drastic personal move, too.
The free agent NFL quarterback announced the news on Joe Rogan’s podcast on Wednesday, May 21.
Rodgers, who is from California, announced that he’s probably going to move out of the state. Rodgers was discussing the state of California with Rogan, who famously moved out of Los Angeles to Austin, Texas.

“I think I’m gonna get out,” Rodgers said, as Rogan then asked him where he was living.
“I’m still there. I’m in Malibu. But Malibu…we’re not in the (expletive).
Rogan said that he believes that Texas is the best place to go.
“It’s pretty impressive, just how they have been able to disdain and what happened with COVID,” Rodgers said.
“This is one of the few states that held the line during COVID,” Rogan replied.
“Government that just allows people to be free.”
Rodgers added that he’s heard a lot about people in Texas who want to keep Californians out.
“There’s like cult members, Democratic cult members,” Rogan said.

Rogan admitted that he used to really love California. He was always incredibly happy to return to Los Angeles after being on the road. He said he loved the climate, the people and more. However, he believes that COVID-19 changed everything.
Meanwhile, the longtime NFL quarterback has strong ties to California, having played at Cal-Berkeley and grown up rooting for the San Francisco 49ers.
Now, though, it sounds like Rodgers will be leaving the state, perhaps for Texas, after speaking to Rogan.
