Aaron Rodgers, brand new Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, seems to be already becoming chummy with the rest of his team. After the minicamp on Tuesday, the team’s tight end, Pat Freiermuth, spoke to reporters about Rodgers getting the locker next to his in the Steelers locker room. Freiermuth admitted that while that particular locker has often changed owners, he will try his best to get to know Rodgers on a more personal level.
The tight end, who has been with the Steelers since 2021, also spoke about Rodgers style of play during his appearance on the ‘Not Just Football’ podcast with Cam Heyward. According to Freiermuth, Rodgers can be compared to Ben Roethlisberger, who played with the Steelers for 18 seasons before retiring. Just like Roethlisberger, Rodgers too builds his plays around those teammates he trusts on the field.
“Yeah, I know new guy every year there for me, so I’m excited to meet him, and I will try to get to know him and work with him.” Pat Freiermuth spoke about Aaron Rodgers’ locker placed right next to his with press reporters after the training camp on Tuesday.

Aaron Rodgers made waves a few days back when it was announced that the veteran quarterback has finally signed a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the upcoming season. The QB has signed a one-year deal with the team after teasing his decision for months together. The Steelers made a grab for Rodgers right after he was let go by the New York Jets earlier this year.
Aaron Rodgers Reveals He Got Married During Offseason
Aaron Rodgers is not just officially a Pittsburgh Steeler, but also officially off the dating market. Rodgers, who has been wearing what looks like a wedding ring for quite some time, was asked about it during the team’s minicamp. To this, the quarterback simply announced that it has been a “couple of months” since he got married. However, the veteran quarterback did not give any more details about his marriage or even who his wife is.
Rodgers’ wedding ring was first spotted during the Kentucky Derby. However, he was not asked about it and sources started speculating that it might actually be a promise ring. It is also not clear as to who Rodgers is married to, but it might be a woman named Brittani, whom the quarterback spoke about in a previous interview.
