Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets start their title pursuit this Sunday. After the Jets agreed to trade multiple premium draft picks for a four-time MVP quarterback, they feel like they are squarely in their Super Bowl window. That pursuit will start Week One against the Buffalo Bills. One of Aaron Rodgers’ former teammates is currently playing for the Bills, however, he is in doubt to miss the season opener.
Aaron Rodgers’ Former Teammate Micah Hyde Questionable To Start The Season
A back injury that recently flared up caused Micah Hyde to miss practice on Wednesday. This was confirmed by Bills coach Sean McDermott. At this time, we do not know whether or not he will be in the lineup for Monday night’s game against the New York Jets.
“We’re just taking it one day at a time right now,” McDermott said.
The Bills signed Hyde in 2017 and since then he has been one of the best safeties in the league. There have been 14 interceptions in his first six seasons with Buffalo, including two seasons where he had five picks in a row.
Hyde missed nearly all of last year’s season due to a neck injury, he played only two games before being placed on the inactive list. To remain at the top of the AFC East for a fourth straight season, Hyde’s health will be crucial.
