“A Married Man?” Video of Aaron Rodgers at the Kentucky Derby Has Social Media Detectives in a Frenzy

One of the biggest stories of the 2025 NFL offseason has been Aaron Rodgers and his potential future in the league. After a disappointing 5-12 season with the New York Jets in 2024, the four-time NFL MVP was released by the team’s new leadership and, for the first time in his storied career, became a free agent.

Even though he has been a free agent for weeks, though, Rodgers has not yet signed with a team. Granted, there is only one team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, that has expressed interest in him. He has already met with Pittsburgh’s coaches and front office staff in person, and organized a private workout with two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver DK Metcalf, whom the Steelers acquired earlier this offseason in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks.

Despite these signs that he wants to play for Pittsburgh, he still has not signed a contract with them. And many wonder why.

Aaron Rodgers Told Pat McAfee That He Has Some Stuff Going on in His Personal Life

Before and after his release by the Jets, Rodgers kept a low profile, as he tends to do during the offseason. While he does make some public appearances at celebrity and charity golf tournaments and such, the future Pro Football Hall of Famer is known for going off the grid in an effort to get his mind and body right.

This is especially true this year as he has to choose between playing another NFL season or retiring.

But on the one Pat McAfee Show appearance he made after his release, Rodgers did admit that he has a lot going on in his personal life.

“I’m in a different phase of my life,” Rodgers explained. “I’m 41 years old, I’m in a serious relationship. I have off-the-field stuff going on that requires my attention. I have personal commitments I made not knowing what my future was going to look like after last year, that are important to me.”

And a couple social media detectives think they have found a clue about what one of those commitments might be.

As he does every year, Rodgers is attending the Kentucky Derby this weekend. One video of him has caused a bit of a stir among his fans because, if one looks at his left hand, there is a ring on his finger:

“Could be something. Can’t remember ever seeing him wearing any kind of ring–other than the Super Bowl one,” one user commented.

Another posted, “He did say he was in a serious relationship.”

And this is true. Back in December of 2024, Rodgers casually let slip that he was dating a woman named Brittani during one of his talks with Pat McAfee.

“I was a little worried ’cause there was one package left for my girlfriend Brittani that hadn’t showed up yet,” Rodgers said when talking about Christmas shopping. “I was waiting on it to show up. And it showed up today. We’re all set. All my stuff for the (offensive) line is done, all my stuff for the QB room is done.”

“We just learned that Aaron’s in love,” McAfee playfully said in response.

Perhaps he did finally tie the knot this offseason. But knowing Rodgers, no one will know for sure until he wants them to.
