Aaron Rodgers’ signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers was thought by fans as the biggest and last offseason move that their team would pull off this year. However, the team revealed that they have so much more to go and recently shipped off Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Miami Dolphins in return for cornerback Jalen Ramsey and tight end Jonnu Smith.
While many NFL analysts feel that the Steelers have done enough for their locker room for the upcoming season, retired tight end/wide receiver Dorin Dickerson thinks differently. The NFL legend took to X to share his expectations from the Steelers in the remaining part of this NFL offseason.
“Almost pretty sure the Steelers aren’t done … more to come,” Dorin Dickerson tweeted about the Pittsburgh Steelers from his X account.

Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers are looking pretty decent right now. However, they do lack one very important player – a wide receiver. While the team is already boasting DK Metcalf, there is no one on the other side. Perhaps, acquiring another wide receiver will be the one thing that the Steelers do before the regular season kicks off.

Meanwhile, the Steelers have cleverly worked their roster around veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, before he even signed with the team. The team certainly looks pretty confident that Rodgers will take them to the playoffs in the 2025 NFL season.
Aaron Rodgers Shares Posts Picture With Steelers Teammates
On another positive note, it seems like Aaron Rodgers has made some very great friends in the Pittsburgh Steelers locker room. Rodgers, who is known to be a pretty private person, recently shared a couple of pictures from his training with the Steelers players. In one picture, Rodgers flashes his charming smile next to wide receiver DK Metcalf.

Rodgers seems to have learnt a thing or two from his failed stint with the New York Jets, with whom he lasted only two seasons. The quarterback clearly did not make strong bonds with other Jets players, which led to many on-field blunders and miscommunication errors. It was only toward the end of the 2024 NFL season when the quarterback seemed to have learnt the moves of his teammates, but it was all too late.

This time out, it looks like Aaron Rodgers is making time to get to know his teammates, especially considering that it might be his final season in the league. In a recent appearance on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’, Rodgers revealed that he will most likely retire from the game after the 2025 season.
