Aaron Rodgers’ potential team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, are not looking so great even before the NFL season has started.  In an episode of ‘NFL Live’, NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky discussed the current state of the Pittsburgh Steelers, especially going on to comment that the team’s offense is much weaker when compared to other teams in the league.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be eager to improve their record when compared to the previous season. In the 2024 NFL season, the Steelers finished second in the AFC North after winning ten games and losing seven. The Steelers made it to the Wild Card round to take on the Baltimore Ravens, losing 28-14.

“I think you’re staring at 0-6 with Mason. This is an offense that is only DK Metcalf right now on the perimeter.” Dan Orlovsky said about the Pittsburgh Steelers on ‘NFL Live’.

The Steelers are still holding out for Aaron Rodgers to give a positive response about joining their team. If Rodgers does indeed play for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team will have a much stronger offense. In the previous NFL season, quarterback Rodgers played for the New York Jets and threw for 3,897 yards, scoring 28 touchdowns, while managing 11 interceptions.

The previous NFL season was definitely not Rodgers’ best, and the New York Jets let him go in March this year. Rodgers will be eager to prove himself for any team that he chooses to play for in the upcoming football season.

Aaron Rodgers Has Still Not Given A Response For The Pittsburgh Steelers

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers is yet to announce his decision about the Pittsburgh Steelers. It is clear that the Steelers are getting antsy with the NFL schedule being released officially in the last couple of days.

Some analysts are predicting that Rodgers might not play in the next NFL season at all and may actually retire from the game. Currently, it looks like the Pittsburgh Steelers are the only team who are showing an interest in Aaron Rodgers.

However, after Derek Carr’s sudden retirement, the New Orleans Saints may also try to bring in Rodgers. Previously, the Minnesota Vikings were also eager to sign the veteran quarterback. But it looks like their draft decisions have changed their minds about the Vikings.

Some sources also report that Aaron Rodgers may simply retire from the NFL. In an interview some time back with Pat McAfee, Rodgers admitted that he is in a serious relationship and that he needs to be more concrete about the decisions he is taking.
