Aaron Rodgers, starting quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, got some advice from none other than retired NFL cornerback Joe Haden for the upcoming football season. Rodgers will be playing for the Steelers for the very first time in his career. While he is counted as one of the greats in the league right now, Rodgers’ performance in his last couple of seasons was not that impressive.
After playing the last two seasons with the New York Jets, Rodgers was released by the team earlier this year in March. Pretty much at once, the Pittsburgh Steelers made an offer and Rodgers signed with the team after months of stalling. Rodgers joining the team has brought on mixed reactions from the public. In his recent appearance on the ‘Up & Adams Show’, Haden had some golden words of wisdom for the veteran QB.
“I think at the end of the day, him playing for the Steelers, like they have a really good organization,” Haden said. “He doesn’t have to do too crazy. Like, don’t mess it up. Like don’t be out there messing things up, be a good leader… make the right pass, don’t be turning the ball over. We have a great defense at Pittsburgh. So like, don’t mess it up.” Joe Haden suggested Aaron Rodgers for his next season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are indeed a pretty impressive team as a unit. But, in the previous NFL season, the Steelers performed poorly and are eager to redeem their reputation in the upcoming one. One of their strongest moves was to bring in Aaron Rodgers as their starting quarterback. Rodgers seems to be impressing already at the recent training camps with the rest of the Steelers.
