Aaron Rodgers, being the star veteran quarterback he is, definitely has a hold over his younger counterparts. In his new team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rodgers seems to be making a similar impact on none other than his backup quarterback, Mason Rudolph. Rudolph was recently asked by reporters about his opinion on Rodgers mentoring the other players in the training camp, and the 30-year-old quarterback had nothing but great things to say about the veteran.
“Yeah. I’ll have to temper my warmth because I had a buddy send me a video and say, ‘Bro, your eyes are glazing over talking about Aaron Rodgers, so relax. Take it easy a little bit.’ But it’s been great. He’s been very helpful and friendly and open to questions, whether that be football or non-football. Talking about his experiences over the years. I’m really enjoying it and trying to pick up anything I can from him. He’s forgotten more football than most of us will ever know. He’s a great resource.” Mason Rudolph spoke about Aaron Rodgers to reporters recently.

Both Aaron Rodgers and Mason Rudolph will be playing for the first time with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the upcoming NFL season. However, for Rodgers, this upcoming season will be even more crucial than it will be for Rudolph, since it is expected to be his last one in the league before he retires. Rodgers will be eagerly trying to bring home a Super Bowl ring, while the Steelers steadfastly lean on him to head the offense.

Aaron Rodgers Remarks That Rest Days Help His Performance At Training Camp
Aaron Rodgers made another recent appearance on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ where he was asked much about the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp. Rodgers discussed that while the camp has been certainly intense, the rest days in between have helped his body recover and perform well.
“The body feels great. We just got two days off. That never happens. We had a day off, and then we had a rainout yesterday. I feel great. It’s hot out here. It’s going to be Gruden Grinder today out there. We start every practice with what we call seven shots. It’s seven plays from the 4th & 2 from two.” Aaron Rodgers said on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’.

While Aaron Rodgers is still a great football player, there is no doubt that he is aging. Rodgers is currently 41 years old and will turn 42 by the end of this year. Many analysts have predicted Rodgers’ failure in the upcoming season, mainly citing his age as a factor.
