Aaron Rodgers not making a decision about the Pittsburgh Steelers seems to be bothering Ryan Clark a lot. On Tuesday, Clark, former Pittsburgh Steelers safety, discussed the same on ESPN’s ‘Get Up’. Of course, it is not only Clark who has been irked by Rodgers’ indecisiveness, but many NFL fans too have come forward to criticize the veteran quarterback for leaving the Steelers teetering on the edge.
The Pittsburgh Steelers finished second in the AFC North after winning ten games and losing seven in the 2024 NFL season. The Steelers made it to the Wild Card Round to take on the Baltimore Ravens, but were kicked out of the tournament when they lost 28-14. With the hopeful addition of an experienced quarterback like Aaron Rodgers, the Steelers will hope to do much better in the upcoming season.
“I mean, it makes me sick, to be honest, unless Omar, the general manager of the Pittsburgh Steelers has some sort of promise or some sort of lean on Aaron Rodgers believing that he is going to come back and play football and if he does make that decision, he’s going to be a Pittsburgh Steeler.” Ryan Clark said on ‘Get Up’ about Aaron Rodgers.

It is true that Aaron Rodgers has indeed shown interest in the Pittsburgh Steelers, and has even visited the franchise. However, he has not given any definite answer as to if he will join the team for this year. Meanwhile, rumors have been circulating that Rodgers is actually holding out for a deal from the Minnesota Vikings.

Aaron Rodgers Goes Off Radar During Offseason, Leaving Everyone Puzzled
While Aaron Rodgers has not given a definite answer about possibly playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2025 NFL season, he has also not been seen in public for quite some time. In a recent episode of ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, Rodgers’ current whereabouts were discussed, with none of the hosts knowing anything about this. It looks like Rodgers has been pretty quiet in this offseason and has been flying under the radar.

At 42 years old, Aaron Rodgers will be one of the senior-most quarterbacks in the NFL, but still has plenty more football left in him. Rodgers started his NFL journey back in 2005 after being selected by the Green Bay Packers as the 24th pick in the very first round of the draft. After playing for the Packers until 2022, the QB was traded to the New York Jets. However, post a subpar season, the New York Jets eventually let go of Aaron Rodgers last month.
