Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, is known for his openness and brutal honesty, which has often landed him in hot water with the critics. This last weekend, the 41-year-old quarterback participated in the American Century Championship tournament in Lake Tahoe as he does every year, except this time, something different happened.

In a video shared on social media, Rodgers can be seen walking around with a golf club in the middle of a game, when a kid complains that the veteran quarterback almost hit him. Rodgers doesn’t mess around and gives a blunt response which has brought about mixed reactions.

“You almost hit me, Aaron Rodgers” the child says to Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers at the American Century Championship tournament in Tahoe.

“Almost doesn’t count” Rodgers responds to the kid.

Aaron Rodgers will soon be in training camp with the rest of the Pittsburgh Steelers as the team prepares for their 2025 NFL season. When compared to the rest of the Steelers squad, Rodgers has had less time to prepare with the whole team since he signed only after the OTAs.

However, it looks like the quarterback has gone on to invest plenty of time and money for private workouts with select players in the squad. His chemistry with the other Steelers players will definitely be interesting to see at the upcoming training camp.

Aaron Rodgers Shows Affectionate Side With Longtime Friend At Tahoe

While in Tahoe for the American Century Championship tournament, Aaron Rodgers was seen hanging out with a longtime friend, Carol Sargent. The moment between the veteran quarterback and his ‘Lake Tahoe grandma’ was fortunately caught on camera much to the delight of both onlookers and NFL fans in general. Apparently, the two go a long way with Rodgers meeting her first at the celebrity golf tournament many years ago.

Sargent was later on asked about their relationship to which she remarked that Rodgers was simply a great person and that their friendship was indeed ‘wonderful’. The sweet and affectionate moment between Rodgers and Sargent gave a soft side to his personality.

Rodgers is incredibly private about his personal and family life and seeing him hugging and joking around with Sargent was definitely refreshing to see. Rodgers is also famously estranged to his own family. He did not invite his parents or even his siblings to his recent wedding to Brittani.
