The Texas Longhorns are 10-1 this season and are looking to make the SEC Championship Game against the Georgia Bulldogs. Before Texas can do that, they will have a tough SEC road matchup against the Texas A&M Aggies, who are 8-3 overall on the season.

The winner of the Longhorns and Aggies game will be in the SEC Championship Game. Texas is on track to get a first-round bye in the college football playoffs. Kickoff for the Longhorns and Aggies will be at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC on Saturday night.

When the Longhorns and the Aggies were in the BIG12 Conference, they used to play each other during the final week of the regular season. Now that they are both in the SEC Conference, the rivalry is once again renewed for this season for years to come. Here is what Texas’s fanbase had to say about the upcoming matchup:

The Longhorns fanbase and also the Aggies fanbase is excited for this matchup. This has the chance to be an epic game on Saturday night.

If the Aggies lose this game against the Longhorns, they will be eliminated from the college football playoffs. The only way they can get in is if they win the SEC Conference Championship. As for the Texas Longhorns, losing this game would not be the end of the world for them.

Texas will probably be in no matter if they lose this weekend, next weekend, or if they win the SEC Championship. The Longhorns want to win this game, but they are in a good spot right now. The Texas Longhorns’ biggest story this week is if Quinn Ewers will play this weekend over Arch Manning because of another injury.
