    The Las Vegas Raiders have a 2-5 record this season and they could potentially make some trades before the NFL trade deadline. One player who has been recently named in trade rumors is defensive end Maxx Crosby.

    He is 28 years old and will not be a free agent until after the 2029 NFL season. It appears as if Crosby should be with the Raiders for the long-term, but maybe some teams will look to try and trade for him.

    NFL Insider Reveals That the Dallas Cowboys Could Potentially Trade For Las Vegas Raiders Defensive End Maxx Crosby

    Before the start of the 2025 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys decided to trade away star edge rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers. Parsons was entering the final year of his contract and owner Jerry Jones did not want to give him a new contract extension.

    Well, the Cowboys have had one of the worst defenses in the NFL this season. Trey Wingo posted on his Twitter page on Tuesday and said,

    “Breaking: according to sources the

    @dallascowboys

    have made inquiries with the

    @Raiders

    about a potential trade for Maxx Crosby”

    This would be a huge trade potentially if it does happen. It would shock a lot of people because Crosby goes elsewhere and the Cowboys get a pass rusher back. If they do this, then why didn’t they keep Parsons in the first place? This is just silly team management by Jerry.

    In seven games this season with the Raiders, he has recorded 28 tackles, four sacks, one forced fumble, and one interception. If Las Vegas trades Crosby, this means that they are going to pivoting into a massive rebuild. They are probably going to want several draft picks from the Cowboys for him. Dallas is not going to be a contender in the NFC this season anyways.

    They are better off keeping their first-round picks for the 2026 NFL Draft. Even though trading for Crosby would be a great add for Dallas, it would be organizational malpractice that they didn’t keep Parsons in the first place. The Raiders are going to field calls from teams potentially about Crosby’s availability before the NFL trade deadline.
