Amazon Prime Video has been airing Thursday Night Football for years but now has ownership of the game entering this season.
A pair of former Los Angeles Rams players will join the Thursday night fun, according to Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post. These players are former cornerback Aqib Talib and recently retired left tackle Andrew Whitworth.
Glasspiel wrote that the ex-players are expected to join the studio team.

They would cover the pre-game, halftime and post-game along with Tony Gonzalez, Marshawn Lynch, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Richard Sherman.
The show will be hosted by Charissa Rivera, the streaming service announced.
Whitworth, coming off of a Super Bowl win, is expected to be part of the studio show if a deal is reached.
This is Whitworth’s first role in the NFL outside of the football field. His 16 years of experience should help immensely in his game analysis for the viewers.
Meanwhile, Talib was at Fox in a different position than what he will be doing at Amazon. He was in the commentary booth at his former network, providing incredible commentary when needed.

It seems as if Talib will now be providing game analysis as a studio panelist.
The studio team is loaded with talented former players. There are a combined 33 Pro Bowl selections, 13 All-Pro appearances and four Super Bowl rings to this proposed cast’s credit.
