The College Football Season is getting closer. With 7 days left until BYU kickoffs against South Florida let’s get to know some players on the roster for this upcoming season. This will give fans an idea of where these players have come from and what they could do for the cougars this season. I will do one every day there is a player with that number.
Hinckley Ropati
Today is Hinckley Ropati junior running back 5-10 215 lbs. Before coming to BYU he played for Downey High School and Cerritos College. Joined BYU in 2020 and didn’t play that season. Last season he played in five games and rushed for 15 yards on four attempts. He may see some playing time this year in those games that we may be up by so many points.
George Udo
Today is George Udo junior defensive back 6-1 200 lbs. Before coming to BYU he played for Berean Christian High School. He was also recruited by Oregon State, Cal, Cal Poly, UC Davis, UC San Diego, and Sacramento State. In 2019 he played in eight games and had one tackle. In 2020 he played in 10 games and had 24 tackles. Last season he played in four games and had three tackles. Udo could see some playing time this year with how talented the defense is and the talent that he adds to the roster.
