“51 Here To Stay”: New York Giants Fans Thrilled With Abdul Carter Not Changing His Jersey Number Ahead Of 2025 Season

New York Giants rookie edge rusher Abdul Carter asked for Lawrence Taylor’s number before the start of training camp and of course that was denied. Carter took the number 51 before training camp began.

Well, many Giants fans were wondering if he was going to keep the number before the start of the 2025 NFL season. Well, Carter posted on his Twitter page on Friday:

It is not a surprise that Carter kept the jersey number 51. A lot of Giants fans have already been buying his jersey, and he has a chance to be a special player this season.

There is a chance that Carter has a chance to be a rookie of the year candidate in the NFC for the Giants. There is no doubt that he was the best player on the board for New York third overall when they selected him in the 2025 NFL Draft from the Penn State Nittany Lions also.
