Underrated Prospects:
As college football championship weekend gets underway, i wanted take a quick look at some under the radar prospects (that may or may not declare). From the MAC, PAC12, and the AAC, these players have all had exceptional years and put forth next level film on tape. Here are 5 underrated prospects to watch as the action gets begins.
Tylan Grable LT UCF 6’7 300:
Former FCS All-American at Jacksonville State University. Started every game for UCF at LT. Great athleticism, long arms & extremely solid in pass protection.
GRADE: High upside Day 2 to mid round value.
Kurtis Rourke QB Ohio 6’3 216:
3500 total yards & 29 total TD’s. MAC OPOY. Cannon of an arm. Great touch on the deep ball. Very capable athlete. Ideal size and IQ. Confidence shows on tape.
GRADE: Potential late round draft pick.
Brett Neilon C USC 6’2 300:
Extremely seasoned. Tons of experience. Compact build aids in leverage battles. Sufficient athlete. Technician. Age & size will hurt draft stock, but he’s had an All-American caliber season.
GRADE: Late round value.
Braedon Daniels LT Utah 6’4 300:
Prototype size. Versatility as well. Played both tackles & even time at guard. People mover in the run game. Fringe All-American caliber. Senior Bowl Invitee.
GRADE: Day 2 value.
Deuce Vaughn RB Kansas State 5’6 180:
4500 career total yards. 41 total TD’s. Great wiggle. Top end speed. Great vision. Capable receiver. Willing blocker (size is certainly a next level concern).
GRADE: Mid round value.
