BREAKING: 49ers Sign 165 Game Starter For Playoff Push (Report)

The San Francisco 49ers are at a crucial point in their season.  Through eight games they sit 4-4 and are third in the NFC West.  However, the Los Angeles Rams are in first at 5-4.  The NFC West is wide open this season.

Ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Francisco decided to make an addition on defense.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefer:

49ers making another defensive addition: San Francisco is bringing back veteran safety Tashaun Gipson and signing him to their practice squad, per source.
Gipson spent the 2022-‘23 seasons with San Francisco.
