There is a big NFC showdown coming up between the San Francisco 49ers (5-5) and the Green Bay Packers (7-3). This crucial game will be played on the road for San Francisco. The team’s heartbreaking loss to the Seattle Seahawks last week made winning that much more important.
Star tight end George Kittle missed the Seattle game, and now he has an announcement for the Packers matchup.

According to Nick Wagoner of ESPN:
49ers TE George Kittle: “I will be playing on Sunday.”
Due to a hamstring injury, Kittle missed San Francisco’s 20-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11.
He also missed Week 3’s loss to the Rams due to a hamstring injury.
Aside from leading the team in receptions (43) and touchdown catches (seven), Kittle is second on the team in receiving yards (560) behind Jauan Jennings. He is on pace to record his highest yardage since 2020 with 70 yards per game. Getting him back will be huge for San Francisco.
