The Ohio State Buckeyes suffered a tough loss to the Oregon Ducks, and everyone had something to say about the loss.
The Ohio State Buckeyes fans felt the game was lost due to one big mistake from quarterback Will Howard. While other college football fans feel the Buckeyes were slighted by the referees and managed to take a timeout with time still on the clock. Others including Buckeyes players and commitments, however, are using the loss as motivation moving forward this season.
Five-star commitment and 2025 cornerback Devin Sanchez is the top-ranked cornerback and the fifth-ranked recruit in the country. Sanchez announced his commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes in January, and has since ensured an early graduation in order to hit Columbus sooner. The cornerback took offense to the behavior of the Oregon Ducks players during the game in particular, and made an interesting social media post regarding a future meeting between the two teams.
I’ll be there in December🤝🏽💯.

Sanchez posted a projection of the current college football playoff bracket, which showed the potential of Oregon and Ohio State meeting in the playoffs. Sanchez brandished the post with the comment, “Tell you we gon see dem f— —— again” with the “okay” hand sign emoji. The cornerback used quite an interesting vulgarity to describe the Ducks, which quickly went viral on multiple social media platforms.
Sanchez has since deleted the post, and due to the vulgarity of the message, the original version of his post cannot be included at this time.
The reactions ranged from people laughing and supporting the love that Sanchez has shown for the Ohio State Buckeyes before even hitting campus. The responses ranged from “He is already locked in” to “Ain’t a dawg like him on the team” from the Ohio State Buckeyes fans.
Other Ohio State Buckeyes fans, however, did not like the comment that Sanchez made and found it unnecessary, as Sanchez did not actually play in the game.
Ohio State Buckeyes Five-Star Commitment Devin Sanchez Shows True Passion For Team
While many fans might be upset with the words Sanchez chose, there are not many players more passionate about the game of football than the cornerback.
Sanchez has a history of sending targeted posts towards opponents of the Ohio State Buckeyes since announcing his commitment. Directly after committing, Sanchez began referring to the Michigan Wolverines as “the team up North” whenever speaking of them or posting about the team.
Before committing to the Ohio State Buckeyes program on live television, Sanchez narrowed his list down to Alabama, Ohio State, and Texas A&M. The cornerback ultimately chose Ohio State after spending significant time in Columbus on both recruiting visits and game-day visits as well. Sanchez is currently expected to return to campus and join the Ohio State Buckeyes team after the conclusion of his high school season in Texas.
