BYU Upsets Baylor in double overtime 26-20. Provo, Utah late night under lights and a full moon caused some insane events last night. BYU came in without their top two wide receivers and played with some faces in the late-night matchup. After a field goal early for the Cougars, there was no other score until Baylor put a touchdown in the second quarter. BYU would then score right before the half with Chase Roberts. After some field goals, the Cougars put up another touchdown this time Chase Roberts to Jaren Hall. In the Fourth quarter, Jake Oldroyd missed a field and the game went into overtime. Another missed field in the first overtime period the Cougars had to get it done on offense. Lopini Katoa scores on a three-yard run to get the Cougars the Victory.
Players Who Stood Out
Kody Epps
Epps had three receptions for 28 receiving yards and a big catch in the first quarter.
Ammon Hannemann
Made some great big plays on defense when some of the others were tired. Hannemann had eight tackles.
Players With a Big game
Chase Roberts
Roberts said trust me, Jaren Hall. With Nacua and Romney Roberts came BYU’s number one receiver last night. He played a big role in the offense and the win over Baylor. Roberts had eight receptions for 122 yards and one touchdown. He also threw for a touchdown on a flea flicker play that Hall put in for the touchdown.
Max Tooley
Tooley had another big game for the Cougars on defense. He may not have caused any turnovers but he made some big tackles in key moments. Tooley led the defense with 13 tackles and one quarterback hurry.
Play of the Game
Takeaways
Offense
They had another amazing night. The offense started slow but eventually found a rhythm with the younger wide receivers who stepped up and showed Cougar Nation that they
have nothing to worry about with Nacua and Romney out. The running game never really got going last night but Baylor’s defense is great at blocking the run game.
Defense
Made some big plays and kept the game close. It is true defenses win Championship. Last night they won the Cougars ball game.

Special Teams
The special teams fixed the kickoff and punt games. The kicking game struggled last night late in the game. Jake Oldroyd, it just wasn’t his night.
