The 2022 NFL Season kicks off tomorrow night with the much anticipated matchup Bills vs. Rams. This means the end of fantasy football draft season is upon us, wether it be re-draft, best ball, dynasty, or any of the other formats. Now it is time to discuss some WRs I’m predicting to be Fantasy Football Draft Steals based on ADP found on Fantasy Pros website.
Courtland Sutton – ADP 58.3
Courtland Sutton is looking like a prime receiver to burst on the scene this season. The Denver Broncos made changes at coach coupled with a huge upgrade at QB this offseason. With the addition of Nathaniel Hackett as HC, former Packers Offensive Coordinator and making the trade to bring in Russell Wilson. It looks as though the Broncos really want to get the ball in the air early and often. In other words, Sutton will have a much larger role in the offense, just needs to capitalize on his opportunity.
Chris Godwin – ADP 62.3
Godwin is of course coming off a serious injury. However, with Tom Brady coming back to lead the offense and the chemistry already built I expect a quick turnaround to get back on track. Godwin was WR19 last year while only playing in 14 games due to injury. News is he could possibly suit up week 1 and be on the field ready to go. With this news, we have seen his ADP jump in the past few days.
Juju Smith-Schuster – ADP – 75.5
Juju is expected to be the #1 WR for Patrick Mahomes. Although, he gets a bunch of hate due to his TikTok dances. He is currently being drafted as the WR31, seems like people forgot exactly what type of level he can play. In the 2019 Season, his starting QB Ben Roethlisberger hurt his elbow and juju missed 4 games himself. This injury caused the whole steelers offense to change. As a result, the deep ball offense moved to a short and quick passing game. In 2021 Juju only played in 5 games. I expect a huge bounce back in the Chiefs offense.
Christian Kirk – ADP – 100.8
4 years 72 Million. This is the contract Christian Kirk signed this offseason with the Jacksonville Jaguars. I believe much of the fantasy community is overlooking this. Teams don’t pay players this type of money not to get them involved. In essence, Fantasy football is about volume and opportunity, and Kirk will have a whole lost of both.
Romeo Doubs – ADP – 179.3
When we look at opportunity, I believe Doubs will have plenty of that. As we know, Adams is now in Vegas. Heading into week 1 Allen Lazard is questionable to be on the field. Likewise, 2nd Round pick Christian Watson is also dealing with his own injuries and isn’t likely to play. Leaving Rodgers with Injury Prone Sammy Watkins, Randall Cobb, and Doubs as the WRs. Doubs has been impressive in the preseason, I look for him to make the most of a chances and make it very difficult for the Packers to not leave him on the field when Lazard and Watson return. This could be one of the biggest Fantasy Football draft steals if this plays out the way it’s looking. Matthew Brown Writer at Gridiron heroics, has been making a call on Doubs for sometime now.
