The Philadelphia Eagles had mostly good news on injuries
The Philadelphia Eagles had mostly good news on their injury report. The Eagles were battling several injuries near the end of the season. With the benefit of the first-round bye, the team was able to heal up before their Divisional Round contest. The Eagles listed two players on their injury report Wednesday.
According to a statement by the Eagles, offensive tackle Lane Johnson was limited at practice with a groin injury. Cornerback Avonte Maddox was limited with a toe injury.

The good news for the Eagles is that quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver A.J. Brown are not listed on the injury report.
The Eagles will want a healthy squad before they take on the San Francisco 49ers Sunday in the NFC Championship Game. The 49ers’ injury report is more sobering than the Eagles. Kyle Shanahan said earlier Wednesday that running back Christian McCaffrey and wide receiver Deebo Samuel would miss practice Wednesday with injuries.
