The College Football Season is getting closer. With 19 days left until BYU kickoffs against South Florida let’s get to know some players on the roster for this upcoming season. This will give fans an idea of where these players have come from and what they could do for the cougars this season. I will do one every day there is a player with that number.
Miles Davis
Today is Miles Davis freshman running back 6-2 210lbs. Davis has played since 2020 for the Cougars. Before coming to BYU he played for Las Vegas High School. Davis played running back and was also on the high school track team. In his first year as a Cougar, he played in four games and had 96 rushing yards and two touchdowns. In 2021 he redshirted played in two games and had 19.5 yards per punt return. This year he is listed at number four on the depth chart for this season.
Javelle Brown
Today is Javelle Brown sophomore defensive back 6-1 187 lbs. Brown started playing for the Cougars in 2019. Before BYU he played at Mira Mesa High School in California. While in high school he played running back, wide receiver, defensive back, and kick returner, Brown was also on the track and field team. In 2019 he was a member of the scout team. He also didn’t play in 2020. Last season he played in 10 games and had his first ever tackle against Arizona State. Brown also returned two kicks 19 yards per return.
