The LSU Tigers are hosting the strong #9 Ole Miss Rebels this weekend in a game that could decide who enters into the conference final.
LSU is coming off of a 42-10 win over a solid South Alabama team that has proven to be much more than just a walk in the park this season. The Tigers dropped the first game of the season against the USC Trojans, but have since climbed back up the rankings. LSU return to form by defeating Nicholls, South Carolina, UCLA, and South Alabama.
For the Tigers, Ole Miss is just one of many tests remaining on the schedule as LSU has arguably one of the toughest in the country. Following the Rebels, the LSU Tigers will face Arkansas (Away), #15 Texas A&M (Away), #7 Alabama (Home), Florida (Away), Vanderbilt (Home), and #18 Oklahoma (Home). The Tigers are currently expected to go 4-3 to finish the season, with losses to the Rebels, Aggies, and Crimson Tide.
Ole Miss is currently the ninth-ranked school in the country with arguably one of the best quarterbacks in college football in Jaxson Dart. While many has argued that the Rebels are still largely unproven this season, the Tigers cannot take the team too lightly and expect to win.
Despite the tough road ahead, LSU Tigers fans have remained immensely confident and believe the team will pull off the upset win this weekend.

I haven’t been this excited for an LSU game in years. Ole Miss is tacky and I hate them.

For the Rebels, it is going to be a tough game in Baton Rouge as the LSU Tigers fans are going to be coming out to the game in full force.
LSU Tigers Must Turn to Caden Durham Against Stout Ole Miss Defense
While the LSU Tigers will surely allow quarterback Garrett Nussmeier to air the ball out, injuries to the receiving core may prompt the use of other players.
Running back Caden Durham has been a bright spot in flashes for the LSU Tigers offense this season. Durham only has 29 carries, 244 yards, and three touchdowns through five games this season as a rotational player. A combination of Josh Williams and Kaleb Jackson had been the running back room previously, but Durham might be thrust into the rotation after a 128-yard performance.
The freshman had seven carries and 226 yards total including a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown against South Alabama. Regardless of the skill gap between the teams, Durham has been explosive and has shown flashes of Clyde Edwards-Helaire during his time with the Tigers.
For the LSU Tigers, utilizing Durham to his full potential against Ole Miss will perhaps become key to defeating the ninth-ranked team.
