The College Football Season is getting closer. With 13 days left until BYU kickoffs against South Florida let’s get to know some players on the roster for this upcoming season. This will give fans an idea of where these players have come from and what they could do for the cougars this season. I will do one every day there is a player with that number.
Jackson Kaufusi
Today is Jackson Kaufusi junior linebacker 6-2 226 lbs. Before coming to BYU in 2018 he played for Brighton High School and went on his mission to Australia. In 2018 he redshirted played in four games and had one tackle. In 2019 Kaufusi played in nine games and had 21 tackles and one interception. 2020 he played in 10 games and had 10 tackles. Last season he played in 8 games and had 15 tackles.
Masen Wake
Today is Masen Wake junior fullback 6-1 260 lbs. Before coming to BYU in 2019 he played for Lone Peak High School. In 2019 he played in 12 games and had six rushing yards also starting against Tennessee and Boise State. In 2020 he played in 11 games and had 109 receiving yards for one touchdown and rushed for 15 yards and two touchdowns. Last Season he played in nine games had 124 receiving yards and then rushed for one yard with zero touchdowns.
